On 12 April 2018, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 3rd World Bicycle Day, recognizing the uniqueness, longevity, and versatility of the bicycle, which has been in use for over two centuries. It also highlighted its benefits as a simple, affordable, reliable, clean, and environmentally fit and sustainable means of transportation, promoting health for
