The smallest snake in the world is the Barbados thread snake, and the longest snake in the world is called a reticulated python.

The serpent is also an interesting biblical sign. On the other hand, Satan is called as the serpent in Christianity, and also it was a serpent that induced Eve to eat the apple. The serpents are thought as a nature spirit in the Hindu regions of Asia. According to Aztec faith, serpents are the guardians of wells, rivers, and springs and they bring fertility and rain.
